In terms of the copper price, I actually find it quite remarkable that it’s holding up so well given the US dollar strength. Let’s hope tonight’s big US data releases move the copper price above 4.50 a pound. Given the highs that were logged back in 2011, adjusted for inflation I’m hoping to see over $5 in the short run possibly holding that medium term given the declining performance of some major mines including ivanhoe mines drc project ramping up production, coupled with an increasing demand for copper. The copper gold ratio IMO is about to break out from its long consolidation started in 2010. Hoping it won’t be because of a sharp fall on the price of gold but rather a realisation that you can’t have an increase in electrification without the copper supply to meet that increase.

I think the world has a small list of copper deposits that are development ready so I’m praying that bill knew something about SS years ago about the potential to expand the copper endowment of the project, or perhaps even another project that he has had his eyes on for years now in case this exact moment we are currently witnessing plays out.

a merry Christmas for all holders will be an increase in the copper price, a continuation or even rebound at this stage of mining stocks, and assays that say we have a whole new ball game of mineralisation sitting beneath the current interpreted zones.

the best thing about this is that if it actually plays out, we know we have a primed captain to steer this ship that had tens of millions vested in this and with a tremendous track record. It’s no wonder the valuation is as high as it is really given everything that could happen. Stuff of dreams really.

I’ve been bagging a lot of management teams on the stock market recently but this one is the only one I am truly confident in and thus why I’ve exposed my self in DVP more than any other stock in history.
