Hi All,
Firstly apologies for not posting earlier, fortunately or unfortunately I have been extremely busy outside of socials. Which can be seen from a general decreasing of posting. (Been tagged on a few stocks asking if there's a reason i'm absent).
Thought i'd commit the time to shedding whatever more light I can on the aforementioned discussion but will try to keep it less about me and more about RFR.
As can be shown in the screenshot, these are some of the reasons for selling. But I would also like to point of that the comment made by nodollars about me still liking the project are absolutely accurate.
In essence if i've got a folio of 10-12 stocks. I'm often assessing my allocation across them to where I see a good balance and secondly best risk vs reward. Some of the items quoted are the risks, but i'm still bullish on the rewards RFR has. So i'd indicate that my reason for selling wasn't/isn't because I think RFR is a dud, simply that i thought there was opportunity to position the money elsewhere for a couple months or longer and see better rewards and that was the decision - This time (to date) it's worked out.
To be explicit, I will indicate a "sell" sentiment if i have sold on the day of posting and buy sentiment on the day of posting. If i know i will free-carry ahead of time I will indicate rough targets, but indicating an exit ahead of time a lot harder to be transparent on and potentially misleading if the optics change and i end up buying.
At no point was I posting here bullishly and selling in the background on those days. I had de-risked a small amount prior to my post indicating might be time to re-launch capital. (that wording should have indicated that if im "relaunching" capital, that some capital had exited prior. The following days some very tangential news occurred elsewhere and I had some low fishing buy orders hit on other stocks. Needed to free capital somewhere and it was here and another stock that took the hit.
I'm often caught in an bind about what is morally the best outcome once I have sold. Is it to post that day saying i'm out! causing unnecessary panic? I don't think so. If i'm ever specifically asked I will indicate so. I think someone contacted me privately on the 4th and asked the question which I transparently gave which aligns to what I gave publicly a few weeks later when asked in public.
That's really enough of the me me me story. Bringing it back to RFR. I still think there's a great opportunity and as per comments made and would re-invest here in the future. I think once the feasibility arrives it will give much greater clarity to the current optic here. it got a little confusing and i think that market somewhat starting to wane thinking the same. underground vs open pit PFS timing when? which FS are we looking at etc etc etc.
I gave this feedback to the directly a couple of times months ago about crystallising direction and strategy and re-affirming timelines for the conjunctive strategies. The project needs very little capital to get of the ground so it's highly likely to get funded, it's just taken a little longer than they'd hoped.
The recent acquisition might not be the sugar hit people are wanting but IMO it's the right decision. They're committing to a commodity and developing it whilst it's not sexy. Its like any commodity, you want to be developing it whilst it's unfavourable, such that when the sugar rush hits you're in the box seat with advanced development or better yet producing. Those chasing lithium acquisitions and REO now are going to miss the boat. Just as likely to rise 100-200% as it is to sink the same amount a few weeks/months later. If you're trading get on and then get out. As soon as the price turns, those tenements are dead rubbers, with no exploration and when the tide comes out the early developers are reaping the rewards.
If I had extra capital i'd never of sold RFR because I think there's a solid RvR. Not often you get into production for as cheaply as they can. Tungsten is extremely scarce, and it's not a popular investment until supply and demand start to outstrip themselves and then the price is rising exponentially. All of sudden RFR at 6-8c looks like a masterclass play. Can't tell you how many investments i've had underwater over 50% at times to eventually yield 500-1000%. Shame i couldn't stay the entire course but rest assured if they clean up the strategy, release a favourable PFS this can bounce back very quickly. with offtakes and finance you're well and truly on your way and 50M MC looks very achievable. With some fortune in the commodity pricing you might even yield that again.
In short;
-I still like RFR and most projects i exit is to move funds elsewhere not because the project sucks.
-I would happily re-invest in RFR in the future upon clarity of direction and delineation of economics of selected strategy
-Never exited in a way to damage the S/P or suggested anyone else to do the same in private.
-I still have close friends and family backing this stock, so IMO it's far from a dud.
Will reach back out to the team post some more news on the aforementioned. If we can re-align ourselves on strategy and agree on a direction forward no reason why I wouldn't re-invest in the future.
truly wishing everyone here success in the short term and long term, so you can rub it in when I have to pay more than what i did when i sold.
Remember i'm just a shareholder, not a messiah and certainly not a market mover or dictator. Made a lot of bad calls selling things that went up astronomically. The economic viability is there IMO, up to the team to deliver on it now.

not a messiah but your posts are always 100% on the nail and I respect your opinion cheers for the update, looking forward to seeing you get back on board i did have one question if you had the time what are your thoughts on the 2 new projects being within 300km of SC since it's reasonably close it's likely feasible for them to truck the ore to SC I suspect though since it's across a boarder I feel like this could cause delays or issues with royalties perhaps and it may make better sense to move the equipment down to the new mines once SC is dried up providing the metallurgy works as well with the SC equipment
