IMO - the lack of announcement is more likely due to a requirement / request of Ellume to keep this deal 'confidential', which they can do as Ellume does not have disclosure obligations like ADO.
I'm just guessing, but in my opinion there is also some likelihood that sorting out the disclosure obligations between ADO and ASX based on Ellume's request, could have been one contributing factor to delay in announcement at all.
Now we are left to ponder - was it $0.10c a drop of the magic sauce or $1???
