I think a lot of people are on the sidelines until the scoping study shows some numbers.
It's all good and well to have that amount of gold in the ground, but keep in mind we have 4.7moz @ 0.3g/t.

This is an awful lot of ground that needs to be moved, and will require big machines, lots of them, all burning bulk diesel. Not to mention the environmental impact of the giant waste rock dumps they will need to create.
There has been talk that to get the grade and throughput that they'd be looking at over 10 ore sorters. The infrastructure alone would make this very expensive. The amount of diesel they would need to bring in during winter and store would be mind blowing to run all the trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, diggers. Then add in the mills, crushers, thickeners. Any idea how much diesel it would take to produce say 60Mw? I've no idea. But I'd guess it's a bulk Sh!t load.
I don't subscribe to the notion that RPM will be a high grade sweetener to blend with Korbell ore.
It has been noted multiple times that they expect the ore grade at RPM to be epithelial as well as IRGS. The geo chemistry between the two ore bodies will be different and require different drugs to make the gold float. A similar example is Cadia Valley. The Cadia Hill open cut was classed as a low grade operation. The average grade was probably around 1g/t. Ridgeway was a high grade deposit and by distance is only 1km give or take away. They tried to blend the two ores numerous times and would never get good recoveries. The high grade required different collectors to make the gold/copper float which is why they have 2 concentrators side by side there to this day.
There is a lot of talk about potential energy sources that they could tap into but the reality is none of these will be available to them any time before 2026. They have always said they are on the path to production and one would expect them to be into it before 2026.

The fact Chris said today that they may end up starting at RPM is concerning enough for me to show they are not sold on Korbell.
What will the update grow the 4.7moz too? Will it stay the same but move 2.5moz to indicated? Who knows. A substantial amount of drilling was infill which wouldn't necessarily add tonnes, but confidence. This may be seen as a missed target by some also. The fact they have not released many infill results means they haven't hit anything else that one would expect to have a significant impact on the SP.
I've been bullish on NVA for years, I still hold hope but my confidence level for anything to get the SP moving and hold increased value is fading.
