in general - it seems like a natural characteristic of the animal
capitalism is a natural harmonious home for it - more's the point I guess.
As far as I can see - most (probably almost all) societies, people with any political ideologies - are all easily lead to corruption practices
in Oz, some naive people think that we have a fairly non corrupt society - but, in reality - it's in every corner of every industry, political area, government - it's probably as common as air -- from the smallest business to the largest government department
all one can do I think is to make systems which attempt to control it - because - it's not a good thing. It's a great thing if one is a beneficiary of it (rewards wise) - but, as for the good of society and being developed beings - it's a very bad thing.
we, the human, are a deeply flawed animal - Libs are no better - some pretend they are - but, wearing a fine suit and carrying a bible ------------------- all that is really is using props to beneficial affect
some are easily fooled
clothes maketh the man ------------ and disguise the criminal as a pillar of society
