Out of interest (since Ive only previously worked in gold mining about 15 years ago have no understanding of coal blast scheduling), does anybody here work in coal and could tell me if a restriction of 6 blasts in a 26 day period will affect production much ?

Just doing the sums...........

26 days / 365 days = ~7.2%
13 million tonnes * ~7.2% = ~936,000 tonnes

So, will there be much potential for a reduction to that ~936k tonnes with a blast restriction like this or is this nothing ?
