    Oh, he’s back.

While we all hope BIT find success, the probability of going from successful animal studies to an approved drug is tiny and people here should be aware of the risk. This is a speculative stock and buying shares here is probably closer to gambling than it is to investing.

Before BMD starts trying to dupe people again, it might be worth thinking about the following:

    1. To understand BMD’s motives for posting, it might be worth reading his very first post on BIT where he said:

“Sold two losers that I was sick of and bought BIT. Sometimes you have to be quick. Closed one cent higher. BIT will rocket from here and I'll trade the proverbial shite out of it. Hope MJ does too. Then he leaves, just as I will. That is the free market and we wouldn't want it any other way, apart from those who havn't yet learnt to trade pennies.” (see here)

    2. The covid therapeutic competitive landscape is vast. Highly effective antiviral drugs have already been approved, and there are hundreds more in various stages of development as you can see in the following links:

    https://www.raps.org/news-and-articles/news-articles/2020/3/covid-19-therapeutics-tracker

    3. There are vaccines in development that target multiple SARS-CoV-2 virus proteins, including the E protein. In fact, some of the vaccines in development are given orally, rather than by injection.

Biotron is in a position as good as any, and a lot better than many, to develop an antiviral against nCoV. I am very confident that we'll be hearing from them long before we do from any vaccine development. This is because they are not commencing from scratch, quite the contrary…How quickly will they be ready to test their antiviral on patients of nCoV? I hazard a guess, within 30 days of commencement (Feb 5th?), if not sooner”. (see here)

    5. On 8 February 2020, BMD wrote:

2019nCoV is in the same family of previous deadly strains of CoV: SARS and MERS. Both these were stopped without vaccines, so no, it is not true that only vaccines can stop nCoV. Therefore your initial premise is incorrect, resulting in the remainder comments being invalid. By the way, there is no vaccine for SARS and MERS, and very little likelihood of one being developed in the near future. Experts agree. The immediate solution is in containment and antivirals”.(see here)

    6. On 9 February 2020, BMD wrote:

In the meantime, Biotron is continuing its work on testing its antivirals on nCoV. We should hear initial results in the near future. Maybe this week. As demonstrated in yesterday's post, expert researchers state that prepared antivirals testing against viruses can be achieved in days”. (see here)

    7. On 13 February 2020, BMD wrote:

Anyway, moving forward I will again state my opinion that I believe we will hear their first initial results very quickly - days, a week - because their advanced compounds (not trying to make a new one), have been dropped into the petri dish containing the cloned new virus. As I showed last week, this process is very quick. They repeat it, analyse the results, and deduce a theory of what is occurring. News”. (see here)

I reckon the chances of BIT failing on CV are about 1 in a 100. Say 1 in 50 just to be a little conservative. One of the things I'm least concerned about are other antivirals being developed in competition to us, or especially vaccines. BIT's compound will be released long before any vaccine closes the gates on this virus. When it does, BIT225 treating HIV will takeover. But that's long term”. (see here)
