So what we have learnt so far????

Everything looks scary but we have learnt a lot about this strain of virus and with the help of super computer and mRNA technology , it wont take much time to figure out what sort of changes in the current vaccine would be more efficient. However, if this strain becomes 40% resistant to our current available vaccine, drug company has to do randomised placebo trial to prove its efficacy and safety for any future vaccine which takes time.
Much is still unknown thats why WHO hasn't come with any Greek name to this variant. I am optimistic that we will know more in coming days and current vaccine is still effective.
i am neither an epidemiologist nor virologist, this is my personal opinion.
