This talk of a Dutton challenge anytime soon is a Labor beat-up, supported by lefty news site, news.com.au. If Rupert was backing this move it would be dominating his mastheads and its not even getting a mention.

He knows to swap leaders this close to an election would be reckless and simply hand power to Labor, still populated by a bunch of well known has-beens.

It's also clear in troubled times like Covid voters prefer incumbents and, unless the govt is an absolute train wreck, they will stick with the status quo. Thus Dutton's chance will not come until well after the election.

That this fake news is being pushed by Labor, Twitter and other wayward fleas is a measure of their lack of policies, personnel and vision. Hopeless.
