there's a few terms that have different meaning. please correct me if needed, but this is what I understand.
leakage usually refers to any leaks in the side wall between the valve and the patient's aorta. Tick, we're good there from what I can see.

regurgitation usually refer to the valve not closing properly meaning there's some sort of reverse flow. our valve completely out performs everyone in that respect. pretty brave of JenaValve to call their tech next generation as it will mean we could call our valve 3rd generation tech IMO. there's a free one for your Wayne *wink.

annulus is a term referring to the diameter of various body parts that usually have a fluid flow. I believe in the video Wayne is using the term in relation to the base of the aortic valve, or simply the total blood flow through the valve.
in the video he mentions that "we had ZERO turbulence". this is unheard of and is just another feather in our cap of proving our valve is "better by design". in perspective, even if that was the only improvement to current technology, that in itself would be significant as it will help the valve last longer.
the "white build up" Wayne uses to explain the usual results is just what we see under Screening X-Ray or CT Angiogram when the patient is injected with contrast to see blood flow.
add our alignment, frame and leaflet technology and the comparison is like going from a second hand, rusted 70's Datsun 180B to a current model Ferrari.

what I hope is that when we release the results of all our studies that our front page uses polarising language in a way the market understands and then back it up with the science. we've done ok, but let's be a bit more bold with the headline and language.

"AVR FIH trials have included some World First Results" not a lie, if annulus flow is a first and we get other polarising results, let's SAY it!!!
65% better is amazing in the medical world and sounds good but it's still a technical number. I'd like the headline to say "AVR has produced results that are 3 times better than the current market in performance and 5 times better in endurance in a multi billion $ market" .... that's the type of language the market can understand.
