You have very little knowledge of Malaysia. It is a country being plagued by corruption and mismanagement. In name they are a multicultural country, however in reality the Chinese who initially controlled the economy and the Indians who worked in the estates and headed the Government Departments are regarded as foreigners and now are a pale shadow of what they were before. As a consequence, many have chosen to migrate and the the Malays who were previously humble people who were happy to be farmers and fishermen were unfortunately influenced by the select Malays to take what they believed was rightfully theirs. The term "bumiputera" which means "son of the soil" was promoted and the select few became powerful at the expense of the majority of simple folk. It was once a "go to place" for foreign investment, however due to corruption and mismanagement, foreign investment has fallen and it is not the best place to invest in. Now even the bumiputeras are split and hence you have the divisions within the Malay communities. In fact the two States in West Malaysia would be better off splitting from Malaysia.

The point I am raising is that unless IOU makes inroads in Indonesia, Singapore and other countries in that region, I cannot see any progress and this is seen by the price of the share being a fraction of its peak.
