You are right in that sand management is the key here...28% porosity is almost uncemented sediment. Keeping that under control will be tricky. I remember saying on the STX thread re: WE5 - that mud invasion/cement formation damage would be more pronounced in the more permeable sections. They might have to bring out Big Bertha to make sure the perforations get through the cake.

Key measures for me other than thickness and area are permeability. Every measure of resource size and well performance hangs off these numbers.

Word is that NWE may be looking to have an interactive shareholder briefing in the near future. It would be worth every one getting their questions ready for then. Perhaps one of the key bits of info we need as SH is a good handle on what info were going to get going forward. This is perhaps best illustrated on a gant chart of sorts. NWE is to an extent reliant on the operator for data and program, but theres nothing like a bit of SH pressure to help mgt tailor their comms.

For all those oil naysayers...can we stop the nonsense please? If there is recoverable oil here, rest assured both parties will be jumping for joy and will look to exploit it hands down. Im pretty bullish on the oil, 60 m columns dont just appear out of nowhere. My guess is that if their current data does not end up showing recoverable oil, they will nail it with their next well. This is another Q for mgt, assuming we get a presentation.

I agree if a commercial oil recovery play is identified, then you would have to believe that the JV would proceed to address and hopefully go to production planning at some stage. Not sure as to why it has slipped down the pages though, that is why there is this speculation?

Gone from top of the page, to middle of page, to no page? There will be reasons I just don't know them, as you said this is a great question to put to management if the SH briefing eventuates.
If the oil discovery is actual and Significant, add that to the major gas discovery. Well it is just huge numbers I foresee. All imo.
