What really hurts are those people who are close to you, who have swallowed this hook line and sinker so they are proud to be of service to the community. While your attitude[nor theirs] is not tolerated, so all conversations avoid the elephant in the room.

This morning I had a reply to an email where I mentioned the cool wet weather over east that the freedom marchers were enjoying, compared to starting to cook in WA. The reply was along the lines of 'they're not freedom marchers, they're just a bunch of selfish morons' and of course how that also applied to me by default. It's not easy and losing lifelong friends is a real possibility.
