Pfft. This whole pandemic is a nothing burger in the course of history.

The bubonic plague caused families to run from home leaving their children abandoned to die. Some towns bricked households up with the inhabitants still alive in it in order to contain the plague. The jews were accused of causing the plague and were dragged from there homes and burnt alive. The Nuns died on top of the patients they were treating and the next Nun merely took her place and cared for the sick regardless of the threat to her own life.

So far we've had the smallest fatality rate of any plague ever, Toilet Paper "crisis", Mask wearing "crisis", Vaccine "crisis", Vaccine Passport "crisis".

Some people in this world don't have food on the table, clean water, or a toilet. I'll take my chances with the Omicron Variant over those conditions.
