The management fees are not included in the performance numbers, so they need to be reduced from each portfolio % number. This will extend the performance gap as Magellan charge a lot more than GQG.
GQG do not charge performance fees and I don’t believe Magellan are entitled to a 10% performance fee based on overall poor fund performance.
Why partial portfolio? These are the main holdings from similar sized funds and would like to do the whole lot, however no time to go through the whole GQG portfolio. I will work out a way to automate it one day, but for now only partial.
