Just a few of the fundamentals to think about.

Is there an ongoing worldwide need for the product or service?.
Who and how many businesses are already providing the product or service?.
Are these existing businesses nearing, or already oversupplying the product or service and are they now, or will they be profitable short term - 3, 4, 5 years or decades out?
Does the business that you wish to invest in have the resources available 'under their control' the finance and ability to develop the product or service at a competitive price?.
Does the business that you wish to invest in have the finances to survive a downturn or business setback?.
Does high level management of the business have a proven ability to successfully grow your investment and have they got skin in the game.?

There's literally dozens of points involved to think about. But for me Sayona Mining Limited tick most of the boxes, but the six mentioned above are very important to me.
