I cringe when I read “Common Man” and “Suburban Ignorance”. These are totally meaningless phrases and lousy English, which by the way is my second language; all they imply is that you Grahod think yourself not common and live in the city.
If you judge other peoples intelligence by their response to your discussions about the financial dilemmas in the world, I put it to you that perhaps they are just smarter then you and wouldn’t want to argue with someone who knows it all. Be honest with yourself, those common people have nothing to tell you that you don’t know already.
I hope you are not in charge of other people and have no ambition to be a Politician.
That would be a clear recipe for disaster! (To use your words)
Thankfully we have no class system in Australia and I suggest that next time around you fell so much better than ‘common’; you keep all those good feelings to yourself. Perhaps then you may make a friend or two.
There is no insult intended but I had that urge to express the opposite view amongst all you like minded tall poppies.
