Geez - just about 1 in 2 trades - especially after 12noon - are less than 10 shares. No wonder the SP is anchored at 51 cents.
Bots maybe? Left over portions of larger trades?
Maybe some investors would like the SP around the 50 cent mark so they can accumulate and take advantage of any SP rise if IMU gets into the ASX200.
Maybe dodgy stuff going on
