I enjoy BeerBaron's input as besides being an EXT supporter he is also realistic and a little cautious.
Using the KISS principle.....
ASSUMING 10,000 shares x takeover price of $US20.
**TODAY = $AUD/US..(0.9169:1)....
Share Value = $218,240
**AT $AUD/US 1:1....
Share Value = $200,000
**AT $AU=$US1.10/1....
Share Value = $181,818
So, of course in this instance,I would prefer a weaker $AUD.
I do trade a few along the way,so I keep an eye on daily share price movements.
But as far as my core is concerned I don't really give a hoot as I believe the sp will be much higher than today at takeover time.A profit's a profit!
(Assuming there is a takeover and the $US doesn't halve in value from here??)
