My personal "take" on Goodings change of shareholdings, noting that he clearly exercised options and sold some as shares, is that he has set a BAD EXAMPLE as to his view on HIG as an investment. He is a highly paid executive, the previous year reaping in US$707,000 as a total package, he has been granted considerable share options exercisable at relatively low prices (the last options were exercised for 7.8 cents when the share price was in the 20's).

Surely if he is to make statements to the market about HIG being a sound long term investment (which us as shareholders would want him do) then he is not backing up his statements by a personal commitment to that cause.

I would be asking the question of him at the next opportunity that shareholders can, at an AGM, to seek his opinion why anyone should want to invest in the company whilst the MD is selling the very same investment (and any excuse that might be had about him requiring the money does not hold any water with me - he is extremely well paid IMO!). (And any comment that he will learn by this incident also doesn't hold any water, it means he shouldn't be running the company if he isn't that commercially astute IMO!).

Enough said about that by me, I will move on and lets hope the rest of the market will do that too.

Notwithstanding this issue, I am of the view that HIG will be a fantastic longer term investment, with world class assets and highly regarded joint venture partners.
