I think (happy to be corrected) these Performance Rights are in relation to their tenure.
In this report (https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-preliminary-final-report-annual-report-2020.5933143/), Gernot was awarded the same number of shares (1,875,000) for a 12 month tenure, and Michael's is 1,875,000 * 2.
It's the other parcel I'm curious about - 5,144,771 from the Employee Incentive Plan (mentioned in the AGM on 31-May-2016).
It looks like it didn't go to anyone within or associated to the company and I couldn't derive what condition was satisfied to trigger it.
