Negative sentiments of loyal accumulators of this stock first started when Tim Richardson, of Australian Financial Review, wrote some questionable and misleading claims about the company, accusing Archer of not being successful with their Australian 12CQ patent (which is not true, just that they have to respond to some comments and make adjustments before reapplying, not rejected outright), and basically claimed the company is worthless, with no mention at all as to what the merits of these two technologies could be for. Basically said that there's no product, so no value. OBVIOUSLY any investor of this company KNOWS that there's no product yet, and the value is completely perceived value, as per any other stock really, and that the value is the future prospects, taken in accordance with relative risk weighting. Since that reporter has published multiple articles and tweets not in AXE's favour, the stock price has suffered from very wild and sporadic fluctuations, and got the attention of swing traders that would pounce on announcements and then dump for 5 to 10% profit. This trading behaviour has made it very annoying indeed for longer term accumulators, who have to really tune out of the share price and wait for the eventual commercialisation.
