It was explained at the AGM by the gentlemen who will be analysing the core, that the only preliminary indicator that we have successfully intercepted the continuity of the reef, would be the chalcopyrite in the hangingwall. In other words, don't expect visual platinum! I recall the chairman mentioning that if there are indicators such as chalcopyrite on initial inspection in the coming days from the first hole (already completed), then this would likely be announced to ASX. The incoming CEO did mention that he would be hoping for the grades to be concentrated at depth and getting higher and narrower the further we go down. This would make for some great underground mining!
I'm not betting on parallel reefs (although that would be wonderful!), I am however very optimistic about it being 500 metres + deep, even kilometres based on the geology and structure of Parks Reef.
