Just some background from a recent blow-in. CFO's are always important in the running of a company. Identitiii will need to work hard to get a competent replacement.
They have been boasting about how they are building up the reservoir of payment industry expertise in their executive team. They see this as being crucial to their future success.
Possibly the current keyman in the executive team is Clare Rhodes, who runs the sales and marketing function. The CEO, John Rayment, said on a recent presentation that the company is at the stage of development that they are reallocating funds from engineering to marketing. It might be JR who is leading negotiations with the gorillas but it appears that CR has been given the job of landing the smaller customers onto the SAAS platform. It is great when a big bopper is signed up - we can only dream of one of the big four - but by definition those will be few and far between. In contrast there are hundreds of potential SAAS customers but if CR can get a conveyor belt of deals going then that gives the company a solid base.
