Goldman's research is exceptionally comprehensive and detailed. It contains specific price, production and cost estimates for futures years which they have calculated a target price from.
This detail is well beyond the capabilities of anyone on here.
It's a shame many posters on here a too naive to just look past the recommendation and into the actual detail.
A tangible difference between Goldman's and Macquarie's research is a significantly lower IO price assumption, that's it.
As informed investors who don't know the future, just like analysts don't, a price toward $12 is a significantly de-risked purchase price, a price toward $20 is probably getting risky with these outlooks based on this comprehensive and exceptionally useful research.
