    From my earlier statement:
"everyone wants to buy the big perfect house right now, plus have it filled with new furniture with a new car out front"

    A gross generalisation.

Agreed it was a gross generalisation, but I usually find the biggest complainers about the prices of things like houses fit into this category. It is surprising how far you can make your money stretch if you have the will/need to. Yeah I earn very good money now, but I grew up without money - everything I have is from my own hard work and sacrifice. So often I am in the supermarket and I look at what other people are purchasing and there is $300 worth of items in their trolley and that is just the one weeks groceries. Everything is instant this instant that this is fine if that is the way you want to live, just don't complain that you don't have any money as you can feed a family for well under $100 per week (and probably eat healthier). Now I could live much more extravagantly but I prefer to sacrifice now and invest for my future, hence I will be able to likely retire in my early 40s and work for myself, while others will continue to complain about the life they lead - life is what you make of it!
