Yeah you come up with good points.
From my observations trading has changed dramatically since entering the ASX300. And that change has been the transition from a retail stock to an institution stock. So you need to think like a snotty nosed, Skoda driving, little financial institution staffer on bonuses and how to build a position or drop a position without effecting the SP to much and keeping it around VWAP.
That's why I mentioned todays close was good, nicely above VWAP.
So Reacher, not sure if you have the time but if you spend a fair bit of it watching the tape roll through you get a feel for their methods and patterns. Keep in mind a quick re-set of the algo and it can change quickly.
But the scenario and time frame you painted provides opportunities for us small fries.
