Your over thinking it, as there's nothing unusual going on .....
ECT have already announced this information to the market as they are obliged to, on Nov 23, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone following the story, and there's definitely no need for the company to release another asx announcement, to advise the market that the LV Express have run a piece on this development.
There are various sources of information and news feeds in social media, and some that cant be posted onto HC, as they come from competing sites.
