Very likely that thorium power becomes widespread in India even China (who will build what remains big ?) despite it is not perfect.
And it is the mining and refining of NdPr that is the reason; there will simply be too much potential given the tons Th (even U) as byproduct of NdPr that nature will demand it be done.
Even if we have "enough wind and sun", it will be done.
All imho obviously.
