The KJV is a direct translation of the ancient Hebrew texts.

The roman Catholic church did not translate the KJV bible.
Why would the Roman Catholic church translate it as such when they are very obviously the prophesised sea beast of Revelation and little horn described in Daniel 7?
Why would they translate to God's original 10 commandments instead of putting in their revised 10 commandments?

Hi Future, we are not talking about the translation of the bible but the canon, the canon is the number of books in the bible, as nowhere in the bible does it tells you which book should be in or out, there is no list, it was the CC that chosen / determined the books from the hundreds that were circulating then and were considered as scripture, determined according to the tradition of the Catholic church, oh, and by the way, in those days it was known as the Catholic Church, not “Roman” and it didn’t comprise of what you see today, but all the churches founded by the apostles and each one had a bishop, with power to run his jurisdiction as he saw fit, it was only when there where problems or a major discission need to be made then it was taken to the bishop of Rome or the pope as known today

It was the CC that chose them and told us they were inspired by the Holy Spirit, as again not all books indicate this.

I suggest for you to brush up on how the canon took shape by reading this first

Another thing that Protestants need to understand is that the first 400years there was no bible, and certainly not the KJ.
    Christ never wrote anything.

Nowhere in the bible or any other writings does it indicate the apostles had a bible in mind as to what they were writing.
It was the CC that decided to collect all the books of the time chose what lined up with the teaching and bound it into one book

Nowhere in the bible does it indicate that it should be used as it is by Protestants, the way it’s use today only came about after the reformation, as the reformers had nothing left when ex-communicated from the CC and the bible was the only way they could go.

It’s only in the last 100-150years that people are able to get a bible, same goes with reading, not many could read until just recently, reliance on the bible was not the intention of Jesus or the apostles for faith. But on the church which Jesus founded.
