Yes I understand its out of their hands but gee you'd have to question why NF thought it was going to be delivered in 6 weeks back in May - here we are nearly 7 months later. They must have had some mixed signals from govt. Whilse it's frustrating for us - I imagine it must be uber frustrating for the team!
I just hope it'll be on the horizon soon, and that there aren't going to be any new challenges thrown up in relation to the ML. I wonder whether its being held up for political reasons, while the government get a better handle on the wider battery plan, or whether the government are questioning how the DFS is in line with their supply chain strategy and keeping things inside DRC. Or maybe its just that the team carrying out the technical review are slow to respond to the query answers provided some 6 weeks ago. Anyway I just hope it's not facing hurdles - you wouldn't think the DRC could easily back down from their public partnership with us after the battery conference.
It'll come good, I'm confident. But anyone who thinks we'll be producing in 2023 are dreaming, I'd have to respectfully suggest.
