If the federal ALP had any skills at all, they should be highlighting the point that every state and territory government in Australia, regardless of it's political brand, has a net zero by 2050 emissions target and very aggressive renewable energy policies. Much firmer and much stronger than the denial from the federal government.

As that article points out, the NSW government is probably now almost leading the country on the switch to low emission technologies. Especially because it is such a big coal exporter.

This topic is a win for Labor if they want it. The fact that old backflip Morrison is already at odds with the NSW government with those comments should make it very easy for Labor to win that debate.
