Certainly should be good volumes of cotton for the current season and the 2022/23 crop. Plenty of water in the reservoirs so volumes of cotton ginned will be good. Likely to be some flood damage from the floods for the 2021/22 crop but good volumes nonetheless. The problem for Namoi longer term will be the cyclical nature of the cotton industry in Australia and the fact it is too small to compete internationally as an agri-business asset. It would be a good acquisition for a larger integrated agri-business player that has some global scale.

I am sure I am not saying anything the wider market does not know. That said I will be holding my position. Should be some small dividends over the next year or two.
