"I have tried to manufacture an argument that Syntiant and Gai Matter might mount to justifying loosing the vote for Ai Innovator and as often is the case the best argument is the truth.
So at the next Board meeting I would suggest if a shareholder asked why they did not win they should answer:“It was a popular vote and unfortunately our employees and shareholder community did not feel disposed to vote in favour of our company and founder. We have asked our people how we might address this disconnect with shareholders and lack of inspirational leadership in the future. We apologise and hope to improve our performance in the years to come.”"

Ummm...it's not rocket science.

BrainChip is a publicly traded company. They have thousands and thousands of shareholders, as well as many traders that buy and sell shares in the short term that are very active on social media. These traders/shareholders have a very big incentive to vote for PVDM, as winning such an award is likely to artificially push the share price up and support their trading activity.

Grai Matter Labs and Syntiant on the other hand are both privately held companies. They don't have the backing of a share trading community that floods the votes like BrainChip does.
