jerry, Biota may have released an ASX announcement on the USA intention to purchase, but the question is whether they should have?

I don't particuarly want to speculation from mgmt about potential orders, I want to hear about sales that have been locked in. Mgmt have stated that they are aiming for a more stable share price, and hence it makes sense that they would not wish to speculate on the size/timing of orders. So then perhaps it was a mistake of them to comment on potential orders in 2006?

Regarding the move to 50:50, I don't have time to read the document just now, but is the document just a recommendation for future policy development, or is the actual US policy regarding antiviral stockpiling?

If it is just a reccomendation for future policy, I don't see why Biota should comment on it. However, if it the current approved policy, then i agree that this should definately be released to the market
