....managed to get outside in time and drive the fox off before he finished the job ( about 1.30am) and bring them both inside ....but we knew the trauma would be too much for him to make through....went back outside a little later and looked in the street and there was the fox just sitting there waiting to come back...at that point I really wished I had a gun....
