That is correct. As I said for few months back MFG performance is getting much better than indexes on month by month basis. Now over 11 months it has done pretty well.
But the investor narrative on MFG shares has not changed yet.
Over last 6 months any investor moving out of MFG would have loss on performance wise, unless otherwise they pick one or two stocks which did well. No index fund would have done better. Like to hear how other fund managers went over those period just performance wise, excluding inflows or outflows.
The investors who stayed with MFG right through would have done even better, as the numbers I gave earlier have the affect of outflows. Performance % get distorted, as outflows or inflows are not added back.

Narrative should change when the half year results are published, EPS I am sure is going to be about 20% more than last year first half. That will be a big change.
