Being a national leader isn't easy ever - and, many of them get caught out when it's an off the cuff thing. Sometimes - I feel for them - sometimes, not.

What one does see often is what they are like - and, what one judges is from only the position one knows ----------- IMO - action people would know what Abbott was saying -------- others well may not.

But - his handling - by his 28 second silence - hmmmmmm - that had ------------- ??? something wrong here ----------- written all over it.

yes I think Laurie Oaks covered it very well at end of video. He must have had a crystal ball.

I have no doubt that Australia would be in a all round better position if Abbott had never been leader, that includes his traitorous undermining of the new leader.
