As a hypothetical if there was to be a 1 for X share issue to raise capital would those of us with a long term interest in the company think that the funds would best be applied to develop a mining operation or to advance the construction of metallisation plants as per the Vison 2025 statement. Perhaps swap the US flag for a Canadian one or maybe just add Canada to the list.
It can be expected that it would be some years before significant feed stock becomes available from the Dubbo Project but feedstock from sources other than China would be available as soon as metallisation plants come online. So is there a model where Dubbo is funded some time in the future by income from metallisation plants but not necessarily in the next few years?
It seems to me the technology is what sets ASM apart so maybe that should very much be the priority for expenditure before others also move into the space. Patents might be one thing but perhaps not important to the country currently the major supplier to the world.
Just food for thought.
DYOR and enjoy.
