I just re read your post and am so confused by what you say.

An apprenticeship is skills based training (on the job) real life. With a variety of technical blocks either external or in house.

You want kids to go to tafe to learn about what they might expect to encounter on the job. What to make them comfortable and cosy ?

Sounds something like mummy teaching the poor pets how to kiss before their first date.

Both very disturbing.

As I said waste of money but will buy a few votes from those parents still suckling the poor little beggers they've raised.
