The only reason for consolidation is to trick new shareholders into thinking these shares actually have value so the BoD can CR/dilute the hell out of this thing all the way back to 2c and then it is rinse and the repeat.
The perfect everlasting lifestyle scheme, can't say they are not smart, while they can sit on their hands pretending to find somebody crazy enough to finance their BIG project until that technology becomes outdated with new battery concepts on the horizon that don't require Cobalt and Nickel.
By then they have amassed enough cash to retire, or start a new lifestyle company to combat boredom.
