On the takeover issue I have this dream of Brainchip remaining on the ASX and becoming the new Big Australian.

The whole world is ganging up on countries that mine and presently if not for India and China Australia would be looking at financial ruin in not many decades from now. Something is needed to address this and a school for Barrista's in a century where pandemics are going to become far more frequent will just not cut it. The only way to guarantee a continuation of the 'lucky country' tag is to make our own luck.

Some will not agree I know this but generational wealth can take many forms. One form of generational wealth is to pass on a thriving economy with lots of opportunities for our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bringing forth the 4th Industrial Revolution and dominating the technology world is sufficient to achieve this ambition.

I equate Peter van der Made and Anil Mankar to myself in the sense that I loved the practice of the law but in the end hated all that went with running my own business.

Peter van der Made and Anil Mankar are the same they love the science and will never retire from the science so why not keep going forever and if they can build out the sales and marketing side of the business into the hands of people they trust why would they not? What Peter van der Made and Anil Mankar do and love to do is not something they can do in their basement at home no matter how nice the basement might be. They both want to be with young vibrant minds advancing science.

The final ingredient was and is the new CEO. The next few months will tell all in this regard and if he is the right fit I can see absolutely no reason why Peter van der Made and Anil Mankar would ever look to retire.

Look at Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger retirement would be death. Can you imagine these two individuals meeting up down at the bowling club once a week. It is a ludicrous idea they love what they do, successful people do.
