You should really start reading the policy releases rather then relying on the ABC or the Guardian for your opinion...
While most of our major sectors will grow strongly to 2050, even as the worlddecarbonises, some sectors will face global headwinds. We will continue to exportour traditional energy exports for as long as our customers demand them. If we wereto withdraw supply and reduce our exports, other countries would fill the gap insupply. Australia’s coal and gas export industries will continue through to 2050 andbeyond, supporting jobs and regional communities.
