Another of the long-term term rusted-on shareholders here. Beyond delighted to get to this point, which has taken far, far longer than I'd ever anticipated. Over the moon for the Rhett families.... now so much more than just hope for them.

My biggest concern now is NEU and its long-suffering shareholders (long-suffering by choice admittedly) not getting the opportunity to capitalise on this milestone and the pathway ahead. As John said in the presentation this morning, today is really just the start for NEU.

In my completely uneducated opinion this has got to have at least $20/share written on it. The last thing I want at this stage is Arcadia/Baker Bros or someone else lobbing in a takeover offer of say $6-$7 and to have NEU disappear.

If I was working for Arcadia, I'd be looking at the options of simply sitting tight and coughing up AUD110 over 2022-2023 as per John's presentation and then further sales milestones (another $300m?) and double digit royalties for the life of Trof vs taking the entire company, now still only worth AUD219. That includes the worldwide rights for Trof, all the promise of a superior drug that can treat a wider range of conditions (NNZ2591) and the rest, including the yet unproven but occasionally touted 'aspirin for the brain' potential, and perhaps another run at TBI with all the knowledge we now have on dosing regimes. Be nuts not to make a tilt at that, even if you had to pay AUD400-500m. I think there's a serious risk of that outcome unfortunately. If not Arcadia, someone else....

Here's hoping we're all still here to celebrate next Christmas as NEU shareholders with a bunch of positive results in the Phase 2 trials for NNZ2591.
