I haven't seen the email, it seems to have been deleted. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
My opinion on a time frame: The longer it takes the Biden Administration to look at something that was proposed during the Trump administration, the less likely it is for approval. However, since the decision is up to the person who just moved into her office in Washington last week, the delay could be caused only because they were waiting for the vacancy to be filled. The people who have been relying on phone calls and emails from the field office are, to put it politely, clueless. We have a saying in this country: "That's above my pay grade."
There is this attitude that the President has dictatorial powers -- "If it's lithium, I order it done." Is it the policy to prefer Australians to Native Americans? Is it the policy to prefer mining to agriculture, when there's not enough water for both? We have a saying in this country: "Stay Tuned."
