I think the indians are very hungry for this coal and want cash at hand to counter any counter takeover bid when all this starts to move.
IMHO it seems like there are a number of parties looking at this company, so maybe it could turn out to be india vs china.
A lot of pride at stake for the next two super powers, so could generate maximum profits for s.p. if ego's get involved.
