slow steady sp climb, page-9

Something will be put out by Nov for Dec payout if history is a guide. The slowly increasing SP is an indication perhaps. Last one was around 5.5 to 6c if my memory still serves me. Commbank/ASB offers marginal lending on this one at 70% so it must be reasonably reliable. Some research units see $1.20 all over it. I believe maybe $1.30 on a good day. A good hold and not a sell though at these prices if one is an investor wanting a balance portfolio.

For those of us who evaluate and decide on the market static coming from TA and FA but still look for the oversold equities this one qualifies imo. A maintained div yield getting more important now than growth in this economic environment. The ability to pay dividends is often overlooked in hyper upswings when cap growth is worshipped as it has been in the last 5 years or so.

Cash flow and cash management somehow is always the default position for well-managed businesses.

DYOR research though. No crystal ball here but just a modest economics education, an understanding of balance sheets, admiration for OZ, and boundless optimism for the country and its future.

I have posted on SKI quite a bit and I think SPN will follow the same trajectory. Patience is required until the instos are satisfied that the athiests have been driven from the building. MIG and DUE (in the dogbox now it seems) may also follow once the risk is reassessed. On a yield basis MAP also very attractive.

DYOR. Another unwinding of Wall Street may also destroy these equities regardless of their value at the moment. The GFC not quite over imho and the price of gold and its movement atm is a clue.

    Good luck to all holders.
