Renesas, page-239

Hi,

I was just watching a 2 minute advert from Renasas Electronic about their RZ/G2L and RZ/G2LC. It’s talking about Edge AI processing.
I think it’s new but not sure. I know BS has OGRE’d similar previously so apologise if this is the same. It’s possibly in the same family as some previously looked at but hopefully a new addition with Akida included however I thought they would be promoting that fact! Further it says “Human machine interface with ARM - based edge AI. Maybe the word “Based” is an out?

It describes performing a lot of the functions Akida can do however it describes a MPU wheras I was looking for a NPU but NN (neural networks) briefly popped up. Only it describes it coming from ARM and no mention of Brainchip.

In the diagrams I can’t see anything which corresponds either however I am not very tech minded and still learning about this stuff.

A bit concerning if it’s not Akida because then it looks like competion. Hopefully someone can tell me it’s not!
