Here in SA where we have had a bit saner managment of covid than some states it is also getting pretty pathetic. Yesterday went with my partner to see your speciallist and found the following:
- They were all wearing face shields, masks and plastic gowns and admin staff were also behind the plastic barrier sheilds
- They would only allow the actual patient in the same room as the dr even when the room would be big enough to cater for covid spacing requirements - heck they wouldn't even let us use the waiting room to have discussions which was empty and massive
Then at the same time I can walk into a supermarket and mingle with hundreds of people with a simple mask on, and allot of the time not observing covid spacing requirements.
Any wonder many of us thing this whole thing is getting rather pathetic and are rather synical about it.

I recall that when SA opened the borders to double vaxxed it was stated under what circumstances something like a doctors surgery would be required to shutdown and the staff isolate should it become an exposure site.
IIRC closing down or staying open is dependent on what type of protective gear is in use.
