Ok, red on the DOW but hopefully green for traders, lol. I will be looking at the following stocks today:-
SMD (Syndicated Metals) - Syndicated Metals just had an Announcement out this morning showing good copper hits near Mt. Isa. This company only listed 2 years ago and has a market cap of ~$354.7m with 205,037,695 shares on the register. They are going to prove up a resource for open pit mining. Note: This is a 49/51 JV with Mt. Isa Metals (MET).
LRC (Laguna Resources - After speaking with the Company yesterday, I am feeling quite confident on this one atm with regard to its Gold activities in Chile, and we are expecting a maiden JORC by mid November. The sp held up very well yesterday also (closing on the vwap of 3cps) & current market depth looks quite healthy also.
EXS (Exco Resources) - A bit of a slow mover, but this stock has been a core holding of mine for a number of years now. Exco has ~4,100 sq. kms of copper tenements around Mt. Isa/Cloncurry, and they have just completed a placement (see this Announcement out this morning) to prepare for imminent mining. This Company has quality management imo, and it's major shareholders include Ivanhoe (20%) & Lion Selection, and it also has JV's with Xstrata & BHP. The number of shares on the register are 284,733,625 and the current market cap is ~$84m.
BCC (Buccaneer Energy) - Share price ranging up and down until get get closer to the November spud. Range trading possible imo. I doubled my holdings yesterday and will be holding at least until the Lee County spud date which I think is 16th November!
PRR (Prima Biomed) - For all those that like the healthcare sector (and I know a few of you have been trading PRR), this Company has just Announcement announcing that they have just been granted a patent in Japan for a cancer vaccine. Personally I am not a fan of healthcare stocks tho.
